What Quincus is
Quincus was founded in 2014 and operates today across deployments in 7 countries. The platform behind the company carries more than a decade of production engineering: routing, pricing, simulation, and network design systems that have run live freight, air cargo, port, and healthcare logistics operations. The core methods are protected intellectual property, including a granted United States patent on stochastic maritime and supply chain optimization.
How we think
Physical networks do not behave like plans. Demand moves, capacity decays, weather intervenes, and chokepoints close without notice. Quincus treats uncertainty as the primary object of engineering rather than an inconvenience to average away. That position runs through everything on this site: the platform, the sector work, and the essays in the Journal.
The team
A world-class engineering team.
Quincus is a world-class AI, supply chain, and modeling team: engineers who design, ship, and operate production optimization systems. The people who built the engine run the company.
How we work with customers
Engagements start with a bounded problem and a measurable baseline, prove value against ground truth, and expand from there. The engagement page describes the first conversation; the proof page shows what the platform has done in production.
Careers
Quincus hires people who think in systems and are comfortable being measured against ground truth. If that describes you, write to us through the engagement page and select Careers as the topic. Tell us what you have built and what you want to build next.
